1. Lottie for LimeLight collection
Where do I start. First if you don’t know who Lottie is already: do yourself a favor and look her up. She is my favorite makeup artist. She created 2 eyeshadow pallets and 3 liquid lipsticks for LimeLight and they are all INCREDIBLE.
2. Murad Soothing Lip and Skin care.
I found this when I was living in DRY DRY DRY California. All models had the worst chapped lips. This was the only thing I found to fix that. It is AMAZING. It heals and smooths and makes lips kissably soft.
3. LimeLight by Alcone 10 Years Younger Finishing Spray
I do makeup that has to stay for hours after I am long gone and the client is either on the red carpet or a bride in tropical climate like Maui where everything slides right off..this is my go to. This is my saving grace. This is everything.
4. Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 45
It’s a talc-free, transparent matte powder with SPF 45. It’s in a small container that fits in my purse or set bag for me when I’m working outside or running errands, it is amazing. I can brush it on the high points of my face and tops of shoulders and have extra protection without getting my hands greasy or smelling like a piña colada.
5. LimeLight by Alcone Botanical Foundation
I have a lot to say about this one. Firstly full disclosure: I was exclusively a Tom Ford girl before I came to LimeLight. And I was NOT looking to switch back to a foundation I phased out of my kit 5 years ago. Even though it made Cosmo's 'Top 10 Foundations' in the world and is used by so many pros I respect and so many actors swear by it. I was happy with Tom Ford and I didn’t wanna try an old fav of mine again. Let’s just say, I AM SO HAPPY I TRIED IT AGAIN. The coverage is SO build-able. You can create the most light, sheer BB cream-like finish. Or get a FULL-ON full coverage look depending on how much you use. It's entirely up to you. And you don’t have to pay Tom Ford prices. From their website; “This Foundation was developed by renowned makeup artist Vincent J-R Kehoe. As President and Director of the Research Council of Make-up Artists, he designed and produced a foundation that has been the choice of professionals and celebrities for almost a decade. This Mineral Oil Free, Lanolin Oil Free, Fragrance Free creme foundation is perfect for dry to oily to sensitive skin.” Basically, it’s amazing.
6. T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand.
A few things you should know about me: I hate carrying more things than I need. I also hate waiting. So this solves a lot of me. Not only is this a 3 in one product, but I can change my mind and switch between the barrels and it heats up so quickly I waste no time waiting. And unlike conventional tools, which can damage hair, these were designed to nurture, reduce styling time, seal in moisture, and get amazing curl in one pass. I LOVE this wand.
7. Olivia Garden Divine Detangler
I literally go insane when I can’t find this brush. I swear it has changed my hair and changed the way I do hair. From the ergonomic design to the way it makes hair soft and tangle free. I love love love it.
8. Tom Ford Brow Sculptor
Did you really think I could make a list without something from my beloved Tom Ford? The best shades, the best design… a calligraphy tip that you can make small strokes or wide lines. It also has a brow brush and sharpener built in. The taupe is my brow secret weapon.
9. LimeLight by Alcone Must Dew
Everyone that knows me knows I LOVE glowing skin. This is my skin secret weapon. Not only do I use it on myself every day and night (and so does my husband), I love to leave it on clients and let is soak in while they get their hair done for soft supple makeup ready skin. Also, if you dab a bit on tops of your cheek bones it gives such a gorgeous glow.
10. LimeLight by Alcone Enduring Lip Color.
I am a SUCKER for a liquid lipstick. I want things that LAST. If you look in my kit you would find the lip section to be 90% liquid lipsticks. And now they’re all LimeLight. These are THE BEST. Goes on as a cream, dries matte, lasts for HOURS. Smells YUMMY, and it won't dry out your lips or turn them into an uneven, flaking, gross mess. And I am all about customization. I love to mix and match these. This has literally become my favorite lip product. I wear Creme Brulee or Mia myself pretty much daily.
11. Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
If you don’t know about this, I’m sorry. This hair product is life changing. It’s a multitasker. A little hold, a little dry shampoo and little texturizer. If you like dry shampoo and like your hair to have cool girl texture, this is everything you’ve been looking for. It soaks up oil and gives body and smells like the things dreams are made of.
12. LimeLight by Alcone Waterproof Complete Concealer.
I have been using this since day one of my career and have NEVER stopped. I SWEAR by it. I could NOT do makeup without this. Don’t believe me? Ok, fine. Take it from the always gorgeous Christy Brinkley, who said that her #1 beauty secret was THIS concealer. In my nearly 15 years as a pro, this is truly the BEST concealer I have ever used. Period.
